Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have designed a $16,000 fur bag,that has PETA in an uproar! This bag, from their pre-fall 2012 Row collection, joins the ranks of their other expensive and very sought after $39,000 alligator backpack. Many animal rights groups are placing the twins on their "black list" for their lack of sensitivity toward animals and the cruelity that accompanies the lavish and superficial designs that many people covet. Mary Kate and Ashley have come a long way since their "Full House" days and are really making their mark in the fashion industry.Although the former child actors, recently received the 2012 Council of Fashion Designers of America Award earlier this month for their work with The Row, this recent controversy may prompt many fashionista's to rethink their commitment and love for this fashion line and opt to boycott this latest fur firestorm! I love Mary Kate and Ashley's designs and their innovation; however, these girls need to find other ways to design great clothing and accessories that don't involve killing innocent animals for fashion pleasure...I'm just saying!
